Saved up 3 pages for an extra-big update this time!

As our story picks up steam, I won't always be posting a single panel per week. I'll be experimenting with different layouts and varying levels of detail. Sometimes when I'm making use of the same background or character poses in multiple panels like today's update, I'll post several pages at once.

With our characters getting acquainted, it doesn't take long for Thessaly to extend her invitation, which brings Pendulum to a decision point. I've got two fun paths in mind for what happens next, and I'll be letting all of you upstanding Wardens of the Wandering Eye decide which path the story takes for the next set of updates, so stay tuned for the vote!

Pendulum was prepared for a fight, but she wasn't expecting this! The solitary sell-sword isn't used to being buttered up with compliments, so she's momentarily thrown off balance by Thessaly's enthusiasm.

Will Pendulum hear her out, or reach for her axe? Next week's update will be an extra-big one with multiple panels! I'm still experimenting with this format and so far I've been using a single square panel every time, but when it's appropriate for the action or dialogue I'll try out a multi-panel layout.

As a wanted fugitive hiding from the King's justice, Pendulum has plenty of reason to be jumpy, especially when she hears a stranger using her real name. Leaping into combat stance, Pendulum sizes up this sultry rapscallion with no sense of personal space. Pendulum's not sure if this grabby gal is friend or foe, but she knows she's not going down without a fight!

Pendulum's not sure if that's the hilt of a sword pressing into her back, or something else...

Our hooded stranger may have caught Pendulum by surprise, approaching from behind out of the shadows, but she's about to find out why you never sneak up on an experienced pit fighter like Penelope Bigwood.

Pendulum's Dwarven friend may have gone too far playing matchmaker this time. As a wanted fugitive with a price on her head, Penelope prefers to work alone. We'll find out why next month when she has her first encounter with this shadowy approaching figure.

And now it's time for a proper introduction to the hero of our story! I've been waiting a long time to draw this character at the level of detail I've always imagined her, so it feels great to finally be able to share her with you guys!
